Description
A 72-inch armored 2-wire thermopile/generator part which produces 250-650 millivolts. It senses pilot flame heat and provides a small voltage output to the gas safety control system in commercial ovens/pizza/bake equipment. The armored sheath protects the wires from heat, abrasion, and mechanical damage. This particular part is used as an exact replacement for a number of OEMs/part numbers across different brands.

💡 Tech Tip:

Before replacing, check the length and armoured cable type, because if it’s shorter or not armoured it might fail prematurely.

Ensure connection terminals are clean and tight. Poor connection or insulation damage reduces the mV output, which may prevent the safety valve from opening.

After installation, check that the pilot flame is strong enough to heat the thermopile correctly. Weak flame or misaligned pilot can underheat the thermopile, causing safety shutdowns.
