💡 Tech Tip:
-
When installing, make sure you route the capillary properly to avoid sharp bends or contact with hot surfaces that could damage it.
-
Adjust the bypass screw properly: some thermostats allow gas flow even in the “off” position if this set-screw (bypass) is backed out too far. After fitting, adjust for correct bypass flame as per manufacturer’s spec.
-
Ensure the knob / dial is the correct style (some models use #22-1011 or #22-1202 depending on manufacturer) so the markings correspond to the temperature range.
📌 Note:
OEM / previous part numbers are useful for cross-reference, but always check the model & serial number of the oven to ensure compatibility. The “high heat” or “FDTH” version is different to the lower temp or standard thermostats, in both internal calibration and safety/capillary design.
